Interview with Commander

On Saturday, we had the pleasure and honour to sit down with Commander Ricardo Faias Martins and interview him about the future of unmanned missions and how projects like ours may pertain to it. The feedback we got was very positive . The commander was also kind enough to suggest we follow a few projects similar to ours and offered to put us in contact with other specialists.

The interview allowed us to confirm our impression that the Portuguese government (in step with the rest of Europe) is betting on unmanned technology for the future of the nation’s security. As such, projects like ours, which aim to develop independent unmanned environments (in our case, that make use of drones and charging stations), are of interest to these modernisation efforts in the Armed Forces and Civil Protection.
